  1. Follow these steps to pair the Jabra Solemate Max with an iPad Air 2. On the right hand side of the speaker locate the power slider, there are 3 settings - off, on and bluetooth. Starting from the off position slide the power switch all the way to the top and hold until the indicator light turns flashing blue and you hear the announcement "Go ahead and connect me, use the Bluetooth setting on your phone".
  2. From the home screen on the iPad open Settings control panel, then go to the Bluetooth menu and make sure the Bluetooth option is turned on.
  3. From the nearby devices list select the Jabra Solemate Max, shortly afterwards it will then say "Paired" next to the name of the device.
  4. You can now play music on the Jabra Solemate Max wirelessly from an iPad Air 2. Tapping on the AirPlay icon in any iOS application on the iPad which plays audio will bring up a list of devices where you will be able to toggle between headphones, the loudspeaker and the Jabra Solemate Max. Next time you can turn on the Jabra Solemate Max and it will automatically connect to the iPad Air 2 without needing to pair again, just turn both devices on and wait for the "Solemate is connected" announcement.
