These instructions assume that you have installed Apple iOS 9 or greater on the iPad Mini 4. Ensure you have version 1.14 or greater of the Jabra Solemate Mini firmware, visit the official Jabra Solemate Mini support site [2] to download the latest version. You can switch off the default 'Connected' and other announcements by holding down the Volume down button when turning on the Jabra Solemate Mini until you hear 'Sound prompts off'.

- Follow these steps to pair the iPad Mini 4 with the Jabra Solemate Mini. With the Jabra Solemate Mini turned on press and hold the middle Answer / End button on top of the device for four seconds until the Bluetooth light on the right hand side starts flashing.
- Wait until you hear the 'Go ahead and connect me. Use the Bluetooth setting on your phone' announcement.
- From the home screen on the iPad Mini 4 choose the Settings control panel, then go to the Bluetooth menu and make sure the Bluetooth option is turned on.
- Underneath select Jabra Solemate Mini from the list of nearby devices to connect to the iPad, it will then say "Paired" next to the name of the device.
