  1. Follow these steps to pair the iPad 4 with the Jabra Solemate Mini. With the Jabra Solemate Mini turned on press and hold the middle Answer / End button on top of the device for 4 seconds until the Bluetooth light on the right hand side starts flashing.
  2. Wait until you hear the 'Go ahead and connect me. Use the Bluetooth setting on your phone' announcement.
  3. From the home screen on the iPad open the Settings control panel, then go to the Bluetooth menu and turn on the Bluetooth option.
  4. Underneath select Jabra Solemate Mini from the list of nearby devices to connect to the iPad, shortly afterwards it will then say "Paired" next to the name of the device.

  1. These instructions show you how to hook up the iPad 4 to the Jabra Solemate Mini using a cable to play audio. Firstly locate the headphone socket at the top of the iPad 4.
  2. With the speaker turned off locate the line in port on the Jabra Solemate Mini. This is located on the right of the speaker between the power switch and the USB port.
  3. Connect the headphone socket on the iPad 4 to the line in on the Jabra Solemate Mini port using a 3.5mm stereo male to 3.5mm stereo male cable [3].
  4. From now on any sounds from the iPad 4the tablet will stop playing on the loudspeaker and play on the Jabra Solemate Mini instead.
