Charging the iPhone 6 Plus when planning a trip to Denmark
Using the USB Lightning Apple connector with a Type K USB charger to charge your iPhone 6 Plus with a Danish power outlet.
Varying complicated standards and plug types can often be confusing when planning on staying in another country for the first time traveller. These instructions have been specifically written to prevent you worrying if you'll be able to charge your iPhone 6 Plus when you're visiting abroad. If visiting Denmark these instructions show how to supply power to the iPhone 6 Plus by using their standard Type K Danish 230 volt 50Hz power outlets, please note Type K power outlets will be used by a majority of Danes. If you are travelling to Denmark from a different region please check that the iPhone 6 Plus can accept a 240 volt supply. If your iPhone 6 Plus was purchased in a country which uses a lower voltage such as 120 volts double check the device is dual voltage (indicated by 100-240 volts) otherwise you may need to use an additional transformer to prevent the device from overheating during charging. If you're planning on staying somewhere such as Copenhagen or Aarhus we also suggest reading the Denmark page on Wikipedia [1] for more details. These instructions assume that you have installed Apple iOS 7 or greater on the iPhone 6 Plus.
